Building your own backyard garden can be extremely worthwhile and very rewarding. It’s also a known fact that you can’t garden angry 🙂 so some might even say it’s therapeutic too! We’ve got a late harvest of strawberries from the backyard garden. Normally, they’d be dormant by now but the extra heat as has been sweet. There’s nothing like a green salad fresh from your own garden, or steamed broccoli that was freshly picked. If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing either of these – it’s really worth it. We have 4 garden beds that we planted back on November 12th. All of the plants are thriving and we’ve had a string of warm weather which surely helped.
